At the Golden Q we strive to achieve an environment that initiates a positive work ethic. Our kitchen runs on communication, camaraderie, and an attitude that invites clean, organized, and focused behaviors. We adhere to health code standards and strive to improve in all areas expected in a professional kitchen. We expect hard work and skillful execution from our staff in all aspects of their duties.

Our bartenders and servers are required adherence to our customer service policies. All front of house employees are taught liquor and drinking establishment laws and are expected to enforce them. Our restaurant runs on communication and team work. We teach our bartenders how to skillfully make drinks and expand their knowledge of alcohol and food. Quick and friendly service is always our goal here at the Golden Q.

Great place for beer, food, and watching sports on TV

Went to the Q for an after Tax Season party with my coworkers. Went for lunch. Had several pitchers of cold beer, appetizers and sandwiches. Everything was very good, as was the service.

The Q has many flat screen TV’s for watching the big game as well as several pool tables. Best sports bar in Hays.

Great Burgers

Perfectly cooked burgers are always a treat. The curly fries are delicious. Order from the counter and the food is delivered to your table. Soft drinks are self-serve.

Great place to hang out

Great bar with large food menu. Pool tables and other games made it a great place to hang out in the afternoon even if the whole family is along.

The best burgers in town, great prices and drinks too. Lots of seating, perfect for groups. A gem in the heart of Hays, KS. We try and stop in every trip through. The Mac Burger is one of my favorites!
